Predator by Eowyn315 Nice Drabble. part of me wishes for more. Your work is always good. well done. Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :) ya_lublyu_tebya 04/23/2008 11:44 am Predator Nice little drabble. Hope your muse gets inspired soon- always on the look out for your work. Thank you! And if you see my muse wandering around (probably off lying on a beach or golfing or something), feel free to give it a kick in the pants! The hunter using all his senses - love it! I wish they'd let Spike keep more of that instead of reducing him to a bumbling foil half the time on ATS. Glad you liked it! And sadly, I think the bumbling foil started a lot earlier than AtS. That was pretty much his entire purpose in Buffy season 4, too. Yes! No bumbler was Spike or idiot either. He was ever the successful predator able to keep not only himself but a sick and mentally ill vampiress alive for a century. Love when writers remember that (even the ones at ME forgot on occassion). Kathleen Thank you! There's a wee bit of irony, of course, since the "prey" ends up getting away right after this, but Spike's definitely no slouch. :) Nothing evokes the idea of a predator on the hunt for me as much as Spike stalking Buffy in this ep. Hee! Well, it seems to have worked for you. *looks around for C's contribution* Nicely done. Thanks! I've decided my problem is motivation - I needed somebody to dare me, so I couldn't cop out with an, "I don't know what to write for that." ClawofCat intends to break out the whips and paddles to supply the necessary motivation. :) And you've probably already seen it by now, but C's prompt fic is the "Rembrandt in the Making?" one. | |||
