Firstly--I'm glad I finally found the time to sit down and read this. I love this fic!
Secondly--He hadn’t counted on wanting to help her through it, wanting to help her solve the mystery, even as he withheld the missing piece.

I am glad that they are together but Spike's thoughts sound ominous. I don't believe he was involved in the rape but I bet he knows what happened.
