Haven't read this chapter yet, but I'm glad to see your back writing this story (I recognize the name, an I can remember enjoying what I read, but for the life of me I can't recall the story line.)  Dang!

With time restraints being what they are, I wonder if you might consider adding a bit of a _refresher_ at the beginning of the chapter (especially after a year.)   It won't help me because I'm off to try and spark my memory, but others will follow. :)

It is so wonderful to see an update on this work - This is such an interesting variation of The Gift - especially the connection between Willow and Spike and this great power.  Bringing in the future from the alley scene is a great new element  - can't wait to see your development of the force and magics and the Spike-Willow inner journey. 

I plan to go back and read all from the start - now that you have taken the work up again - glad to see that your "Muse" has returned for this story - long wait, but so glad that you are back.

I so love this story and, as I said in my earlier reviews, it has taken me a while to find it again after my first reading, and again there is no more story :( Please Update. I absolutely love this story and I can't wait for more!!!!!!!! ;)

As I'm only a recent updates junkie I've only just come across this fic.  I've really enjoyed it.  Love the tenderness you've developed in Buffy and the dual timeline refs are deftly inserted. They could have made the story seem fragmentory and forced but instead they add pace and intrigue.  And if it helps, I found your Trio dialogue very amusing.  (By the way, Ewan does it for me, even if the film doesn't.)  But goodness, a year to write this last chapter?  You poor thing.  Anyway, I'm going to trust you not to take as long with the next one.  Tell that muse of yours that your new reader needs her.     

Not complaining here - happy to have an update.  But this story will have to be reread upon completion because I got a little lost.  I think I'm getting it though.  Thanks so much for the update.

So delighted to see this picked up again!  YAY your muse.  Maybe now that the pressure is off a bit at school you'll be in the mood more often.

Nice pick up from so long ago.  Will be interested to find out how this magic will effect Willow...have a feeling it will be bad!  Some things are already different and that has to be good but seems Spike was in a parallel (the world we saw) perhaps and that can be troubling...although the FE won't have a reason to show up and that has to be good. 

Xander is such a jerk...after all Spike did for him to be treated that way is terrible!

There must be something in the air as yours is not the only resurrected tale tonight!  I'm delighted to see this updat and have reread it all so I'm back on track!   Willow's dodgy behaviour is cleverly done - I don't see her spilling anytime soon.  And Buffy's treatment of Spike is very touching.  I hope you are on a roll and there's more soon.

So glad the muse has woken from her long sleep.  Perhaps she'll be well rested now and ready to get back to work?
