Wow. Very gritty birth scene, but in a good way, and obviously written by a female. (At least, I think?) I love it. So much love and goodness, yet still acknowledging the pain and worser side of it.

As someone who will be having surgery tomorrow, and is very nervous about it, this chapter inexplicably helped me. Thank you.

this is one of the birthing scenes in fan fiction that I have read - a good combination of the physical and emotional experience for both parents and all at the scene.   Nice Touch bringing in Giles and Anya and how different their relationship is, plus like the Connor Dawn exchange as well. 

Long time coming, but great when they finally arrive.  What a wonderful joyous gift that has come into the life of our vampire and slayer - not only for them, but for everyone connected with them.  These children will be an awesome new chapter of their life together.

Great update - and I hope that you can bring us regular updates soon - I have enjoyed your terrific saga since I began reading - been a while now - thank you so much for not abandoning this work and your readers.

Excellent update, so hope Cordy was seeing the birth and not the initiative getting the upper hand. Really hate those boys now. Can't wait for the next chappie, love it.

Sounds like writing the last couple of chappy's  was like given "birth" an if it's any consolation it's a beauty.  (You did good girl.)  It was a very satisfying, an even though I've never given birth I feel you truly capture all the glory and the gory of it.

It was a nice touch to bring Cordy and the Xanman back into play and let's not forget oh so sweet Kennedy and Willow.  You do know how to racket up the angst.

Ahhhhhhh! That was phenomenal! I had read a rec somewhere for the first installation of the Origins story but this whole story line was so much more than I had expected.
Reading this chapter, I almost hyperventilated. The labor/birth was so well written. I can hardly wait to find out the children's names.

Fantastic chapter. I especially loved the parent's reactions over it being a boy at first and Anya's convo with Giles. Xander really never let her talk. Not to mention if my husband told me to rest up while I was having his 15th child because he wanted more boys , I'd opt for the instant home vasectomy option.

I just about died when the boy peed on Buffy. Hilarious. First that they didn't realize that he was a boy, and then, of course, that he peed on her.

That was a lovely chapter.  I loved Buffy and Spike's reactions to their newborns.  Just so sweet.
