That's what I thought! I am in complete agreement with Spike on this one. When I saw the finale of BtVS, that is the thought that ran thru my head. Then during Ats season 5 the way Spike acted it seemed to me that he really thought that way too. That she only said it in the heat of the moment knowing she would never have to back it up.

I love how you brought them together in a place in which they could relate.  Then the tentativeness and the hopefullness fell into place.  Loving this!

Ah, this is so well written.. All the emotions seem so real and character driven, like something Joss would do (I mean that as a compliment btw! Not like the comics! lol). I love "your" Spike and Buffy, and I also really appreciated that little part about Buffy and LA. I liked it! (=

Very believable crossed wires and misunderstandings. I hope neither of them is seriously hurt - and the windows in the car aren't broken getting nasty Mr Sun on Spike. More please.
