I don't send out update emails -- I sent you an email before because Nocturnal Light sends reviews via email and it was an easy reply to let you know that there were more chapters available (that, and I always answer reviews). But keep checking because I try to update every month or so (yes, I am a slow writer, why do you ask?), or if you have livejournal you can follow it there at abelina.livejournal.com through the tag "fic: could be you".

Hmm. A drug used to reduce swelling in the brain. That drug was not part of my post tumor removal repertoire. It would have been nice to have. Brain swelling was no fun.

Yeah, we use a lot where I work. It's a steroid stronger than ones like prednisone or hydrocortisone, and has a number of uses besides reducing cerebral edema -- which I can't imagine would be any fun whatsoever. Hope everything's okay now.
