Or I can tell you. ;) I'll paraphrase... the potion connects mind and body and what's more important, it brings inner strength to the surface. In this case the potion was very specific and Faith being a Potential... you get the idea. :)
I know some people probably hate him getting a soul, but he really feels like he doesn't belong anywhere.
