You are totally awesome!! Not only for updating as quickly as Spike can make a girl cry out in ecstasy but for giving us all an absolutely brilliant piece of spuffy loving!!! :) And what a cliffhanger!!

With your opening paragraph you caught my attention!! All that build up of anticipation was superbly done! And my reply to Spike's "I’m just relishing the moment"? Relish away, darling, but don't leave me waiting much longer!! (And he didn't!! Hurray!!!) :) And finally he put that talented tongue and dexterous hands to good use!! ")

Oh boy, you sure did deliver on all those promises!! Seriously, I think I need at least fifty cold showers!!!! That scene was HOT!!! And I love that line "it felt as though he touched a live wire, the electricity shocking his heart into beating again." Even in the midst of such a highly evocative scene you manage to make my heart melt!!! :)

That description of "She was so genuine, so uncorrupted... even more so when she untangled one hand from the sheets and hesitantly slid it into his hair" I think perfectly portrays Buffy as she was at this time. With only a one night stand in her history (and one that's surrounded by extremely bad memories!!) she was very insecure of herself and her abilities and therefore would certainly be rather timid in initiating contact in a sexual setting. Thankfully, Spike is a very good teacher in this subject and I'm sure she'll be top of the class in no time!! ")

"He could easily keep her on the precipice for hours until she was practically incoherent with the need to come" - so that's how Drusilla went insane! ")

“Wowie.” - I'll raise that "wowie" to a "bloody fantastic!!!" And "like it"? I think that's one of the biggest understatements of the century!!! :)

"I think you killed half of my brain cells" - my brain cells are lining up to volunteer for this suicide mission!! Where do we sign up? :)

"He felt a fleeting moment of panic, thinking she was about to send him on his merry way." - Silly Spike! Like any girl would make him leave after only the entree!! We want the whole deal mate!! Entree, main course and dessert!! With numerous servings allowed of each!!! ")

"I can’t wait to see you all naked and yummy again." - Ohhh, Buffybot moment!! And I completely agree!! It's time for our blonde bad boy to get down to business and do away with some of those inconvenient hindrances to our seeing his luscious self!!! :)

Shy and tentative Buffy was beautifully written and I loved Spike's gentleness and patience with her, especially his line of "Anything you’ll do is going to be perfect for me". Spike may claim to be many things but really when it comes down to it, he will always be a gentleman at heart (and what a loving and beautiful heart it is!!!) Oh, now I made myself cry thinking of how sweet he is and how much I want my own Spike!!! :( I need more spuffy loving!! Ohhh, naked Spike!! :) *distracted from sad thoughts!!*

Naked Spike with naked Buffy - on a bed!! Naked bodies pressing against each other!! OK, fully focused on happy thoughts again!! :)

“Want me to tutor you, Miss Summers?” “You make it sound so kinky.” - Can I sign up for this tutorial too?! I'm very eager to learn and I'm a quick study!! ")

"Kissing her was like bathing in the sunshine" - one of my favourite lines!! Who said Spike was a lousy poet! His very thoughts rival the best poets in history!! And I love the phrase "he felt as though his heart could beat. As though he could be the man he once had been, only better. He’d be everything she wanted him to be and all she needed to do was smile." Oh, you can wring my heart so easily with your words!! And that just describes Spike perfectly. When he loves he truly loves with his whole self (not just part of it like Angel does) and he makes the focus of that love his inspiration and places their wellbeing and importance above his own. Anyone fortunate enough to be the recipient of that kind of love is truly blessed!!

"I think I might be falling in love with you." - I think everyone within fifty miles of my home has been deafened by my squeal!!! I can only imagine how Spike feels!! Finally, a woman he loves has said those wonderful words to him!! I hope he rewards her with many joyful and bedshaking moments!! ") *hint, hint*

Thank you again for such a speedy update and a simply fantastic chapter!! You've made me very happy (and taken me away from the reality that is my life which entails doing a MYOB course in the morning *pout* and which is on the weekend too!! Not fair, I wanted to read more spuffy fanfics!!!).

I eagerly await your next chapter, which will hopefully be hotter than a Spanish summer day with many wild fantasies coming to life!! ")

Thank you, really. :) I’m never quite sure about these kinds of scenes so it’s always good to know they’re not boring or too hasty. Hee... dexterous hands indeed. Buffy got melted into a puddle of goo and he’s nowhere near done with her yet.

LOL! I’m VERY happy to hear that. You always make me grin with your reviews and damn you for knowing I just love how you incorporate the lines you liked. Makes my heart all squishy! Gotta say you’ll probably like the next chapter even more and let’s hope I’ll be able to deliver that promise. ;)

You got that right. As nice as her first time with Angel might have been, him turning evil and saying all those cruel thing to her the next day sure didn’t do much for her self-confidence. But we know Spike won’t do such thing and that he’ll help her realize just how amazing she is not just as a Slayer but as a woman as well. :) Not to mention he has her all to himself to spoil and teach her all the things she probably hasn’t even read about *g*

He is sweet, isn’t he? :) Under all that swagger and gruff exterior, he’s really as vulnerable as anyone else. Even more since he wears his emotions on his sleeve for all the world to see. And his Victorian upbringing sure helps it a lot. Once a gentleman with a poet’s heart, always a gentleman with a poet’s heart. And now he’ll show her just well he can treat her. ;)

Haha, glad you didn’t find it way too sappy/cheesy. :) I did try to convey just how much he loves and that feeling urges him to be someone worthy of her, someone who she can be proud to be her partner. I’ve always admired his capacity to love someone and just how far he is willing to go for them. Spike’s the best!! :D

LOL! I made you squeal!! That is immensely satisfying, I have to say. How shall he respond?? ;) Guess you’ll have to wait and see but I think we al know he’s certainly not going to be mad.
