All his family... wow... I can so relate. Family by choice and by love... Blood's nice and all, but family are those who actively love us.

Loved it! But I suppose I need to read the other two to get my questions answered.

HIya,
It's actually been about a month since I've gone to this site - too much happening to have time lately. Love the story - wish I knew what box I've put the rest of them in.... I've bought a 2 bedroom unit in a suburb called Kilsyth - it's about 45 minutes from where I am now. Was meant to move 2 weeks ago but it's a build and the vendor hadn't subdivided the block with the land titles office - still waiting for that. Hopefully I'll move mid August, then I can get my life back on track. I bought a new laptop and can't go to Livejournal on it - don't use the old one much, so I haven't seen how you are for ages. I hope you and your son are doing well.
The move is going to be quite a lifestyle change - at the moment I live about 10 minutes walk from Chapel Street which is the Melbourne equivalent of 5th Avenue, I suppose. Kilsyth is almost at the bottom of Mount Dandenong which is the start of 2 acre blocks - not farms but close to it.
75% of my stuff is in boxes and has been for a couple of months - I can't move for falling over boxes, so depressing. I just want to be in the new place & have it all set up.
Look after yourself, so glad to see another one of your stories.

Oh how I love your 'verse. So happy to read this one-shot, such a great portrayal of their little family.

Lovely little excerpt that fits right in. Loved the family quotes at the beginning too. :)
