Great fight scene, and loved Halfreck showing up to give a hand. Can't wait to see how Willow reacts - she didn't take it well when Xander chased after Cordelia. :)

Actually, the whole Cordelia affair does come up a lttle later...

I have to thank Joss Whedon for leaving Hallie's character sort of unformed. Since she didn't get a ton of airtime, you can twist her around a bit without getting too far out of character.

"Xander is all this true?" !!! That's it I'm done with Willow. How can she stand there and ask that question after what she just overheard?!?!

Never ever thought I would be happy with anything Halfrek did but she really came through didn't she? For Spike and of course her buddy Anya. Great fight scene between Spike and the sniveling, little coward too. Other than not being longer there is not a single thing about this chapter that I don't love!! Can't wait for the next update!

I can think of a couple of friends that if I had heard something this terrible about them, it would take me quite a while to get my brain around it. So I'm imagining Willow is having similar issues.

Glad you liked the chapter. It was so much fun to write, I almost missed my stop on the commuter rail. I'll be working on the next one soon!
