Well now we know Gile's isn't just a liar, he's a bully too. He really has lost he plot hasn't he? Machiavelli wuld be proud never mind Travers. I'm disappointed with Willow, no matter the pressure, she should have told. If it had been Tara, she'd never forgive it. But I suppose her issues/fears about controlling the magic, ultimately won out.
I want to tell Buffy to pull herself together, but If I was in her shoes I would have fallen to bits long ago. Seems we've still got aways to go before our happy ending....Loved it.

Giles has a THING about protecting Buffy from whatever he sees as a threat, whether Buffy needs the protection or not. And he has quite the blind spot where Spike is concerned... this is the guy, after all, who agreed to help Robin Wood "dispose of" Spike in Season 7. I honestly wasn't sure I would include any of that in this story, since originally I really only needed to get Buffy out on her own to find Spike, but it seems to be working to add another layer to the story in the emotional realm.

I just hope I don't get carried away with that and lose track of the real story here.

And imagine if I'd just left it at "there was a crash in the garage" and walked away cackling. :)
