Brilliant chapter. loved it. Spike talked a lot of sense, even if he didn't have much control. I didn't realise how much of Spike had been taken away from him, until they were restored to him.
I'm never quite sure if Spike was left completely without all these abilities while the spell was on him, or if they were just diminished. I'm mostly leaning towards diminished, in ways he might not have noticed at first, like with his vampiric senses.

Thanks you so much for the "getting on with it" part! SO glad the marks are ging away. The way you are handling the elements is great, binding the soul and the demon in with them, adn having it all come out when she eraces them. I don't want this story to end, but I really want to read more! It's torture, I tell you!! :)
