Spike's so good for Buffy, her friends should realise that. I don't know if I'd forgive Gile's he's a serial meddler. I'm torn on Willow, she only seems worried that she might be found out. Again if it was Tara, I don't think she'd ever forgive it. I can't see Dawn being involved, although she was horrible to Spike in series 7. I liked their friendship, so I hope she doesn't know. Great update.

Willow is worried about something, but it isn't what you think it is.

Spike was always the soothsayer of the TV series - the one who saw things and pointed them out even when no one wanted to hear it.  Actually, especially when no one wanted to hear it.  He wasn't always purely truthful given that his own opinions colored things ("you came back wrong" comes to mind), but he was always observant of the others' behavior.

Finally!  It's over and I can breathe again.
Loved the cuddles at the end of the chapter.
I think I will now enjoy the story more without a doodled-on Spike itching the inside of my skin.  Very uncomfortable, that.

*laugh*  I did not mean to make your skin itch.  I'm not sure if I should be sorry or proud that I've affected you like that.
