My favorite thing in this chapter was the Harmony bit. Buffy let on to her jealousy which did not escape Spike.
Buffy doesn't like to share her toys - even when she doesn't know they are going to be toys yet. :)

I like this challenge response so far. I like the change to the Slayer conversation they have and how Spike found out about Buffy's first thought when it comes to a superpowered person. I am curious to see what happens to the end of FFL though now that Spike isn't angry at her. I feel like Spike being there for her after she found out about her Mom was a really important moment in their relationship. I can't wait for more.

Now, that's more like the way it should have gone, and would have if Buffy hadn't been so self-righteous and bitchy.
Well, in fairness to Buffy, in canon it wasn't Spike who rescued her. But I do think she was unnecessarily mean and nasty to him in that episode. Apparently no one every told her you catch more flies with honey. He was a bit of a jerk too, though... I've made them both a little less antagonistic. :)
