love that chapter...very nice interaction between spike and giles...can't wait to see what happens next...and is it just me, or did you hint at the beginning at perhaps a giles/anya relationship?? because as odd as it seems to some, i love that pairing! always pictured her better off with someone more mature and intelligent than xander, considering the fact that she *was* more than a thousand years old :) just wondering...off to read more :)
I agree that Giles and Anya make more sense than Xander and Anya, and that will become apparent as the story progresses. However, I'm not going to throw them together overnight as I want their relationship to develop naturally. And I always thought that Spike and Giles had too much in common not to become friends on some level. :P
