This was my favorite chapter out of all of them because Dawn finds it within herself to apologize and make ammends with Spike. Something we all know is very difficult for some people to do is to humble your spirit enough to make a sincere and heartfelt apology.. I thought you captured her feelings and Spike's beautifully.
Thanks, so much!  I'm so happy to know that you are enjoying my story.  Yay!  There were a lot of things that were swept under the rug in season 7 that left me un-satisfied, and one of those things was the broken friendship between Dawn and Spike.  They shared a really cool Older brother, little sister type of dynamic, and it was never repaired on the show.  Hope to hear from you again, soon!

"And," he looked down at her, with feigned disdain. "I'm not a fishy."

You keep pulling out these one liners that crack me up! I also loved the whole turkey conversation between Dawn and Spike. It was sweet, and I'm glad they're friends again.
Yay!  *happy dance* So glad you are enjoying it!  Thank you!

Cool touch. And it's even more special because just Dawn knows right now. Even Joss knows and regrets that Dawn got pushed to the wayside in S7. The more you overtake the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain. There were several issues that season that should have been addressed, especially because it was the end of the show.
Hey, glad you liked it!  This was my favorite chapter to write, so far, because it was the first chance I had to throw in something really "different."  Thanks for the review!

Angel was looking at his reflection when he was in Pylea . There he was all human in human face and demon with Spike out of human face.It had nothing to do with the soul. I figured that maybe the reflection had to do with fact that he was touching Dawn. When something small touches him (like clothes) the clothes disappear but when he touches someone his reflection would appear . Normallly with a vampire this would be when feeding or during sex with a human. And they'd have to have a mirror around.
Ah, I knew there was something in AtS, but couldn't recall exactly which one, because I didn't really follow AtS like I did BtVS.  However, the reflection was my own take on the soul.  A lack of reflection (just my personal take) would be like a paranormal reminder that the person no longer resides there, and therefore, the mirror doesn't reflect.  However a twist on this "could" be that Angel still does not have a reflection because his sould is a *curse* on the demon, itself.  Spike's soul is something that he sought to obtain on his own, specifically to become more of a *man* for Buffy.  Like I said, it's just my personal take on the subject.  Something conjured from my own twisted brain, rather than derived out of the BtVS world, and it works for my story.  Thanks for the info, about which AtS ep my damaged memory recalled, and for your take on this part of the chap.   :)

What's with the reflection? Is that part of the soul package? More story please.
Yup.  I figure the lack of reflection has a lot to do with the soul being absent.  Sort of a paranormal reminder that the person isn't "really" there.  I seem to remember a scene in AtS where Angel was looking at his own reflection...  I don't recall which ep.  I'll have to see if anyone else knows, or perhaps I'm goin crazy.  Thanks for reviewing!

I liked the talk. I always hated that the series never did seem to resolve Dawn's "you'll wake up on fire" speech.
Me too.  The writers just brushed all that under the rug, and it was dissapointing.  Thanks for reviewing!

Good chappie. I liked the turkey analogy, it was quirkie.
Thanks!  Who doesn't love a good turkey, right?
