When I first saw this story i didn't read it then today i thought why not so i did. and i am so glad that i did, I absolutly Love this story! Riely is such (insert many bad words here) i really hope that something bad happens to him. i was also suprised at Tara's reaction to Buffy and Spike's relationship, she better come around. But whatever happens on that front i can hardly wait for the next update.

Wordy me, yet I forgot to mention something! I wonder about Angel in this world of no free vampires.....did he shanshu and go into the slave trade himself? (I can just see him being the one to sell Spike into slavery if Spike had come to him for safety!) You just know Riley would have tried to find and sell Angel but if he was human he'd have been safe. I can picture poor Spike going to his sire and the birk selling him off for fun and profit.

Love Julian already (poor sweetie so terrified and so grateful for Giles' kindness). I also have to tell you you've made me want to just kiss Giles and I haven't felt that since he showed up all pod person in S7 on the show! I can see him taking on this cause so easily, Tara too.

This is an interesting look at Giles. I really like what you're doing with his character.

I like your depiction of Giles. This is just the sort of role I would have expected of him, very appropriate to his personality. I'm curious: in this reality, was Ethan imprisoned by the Initiative?

I like this Giles. It'll be interesting to see the interaction between him and Buffy, since they've been basically estranged for a while. Great chapter, as always--although at the beginning I was wondering who the heck Julian was! :)
