But you did the dreaded "cut to fireplace" when the action was getting hot & heavy! Sorry, but in the words of Marti Noxon, "we love the porny." Seriously, though, you are restoring Spike to his fabulous sarcastic self-- Thank you. Another wonderful update.

Poor Xander, I can only imagine the fear and helplessness he is going through. To be so happy one minute because of a baby and the next to have his wife and the baby disappear. You did a great job of expressing this. And Buffy to go from a sweet moment with Spike to hell was very well written also. And Buffy is right in her decision not to allow him, him going in akin to suicide and as someone who really loves him they need to keep him from hurting himself like that. Thanks for another great chapter.

Ok, KILL RILEY!! Poor Buffy and Spike and Xander. He just got his family and now they take them! GGRR!! And Spike! Buffy wants him all free abut he can't fight them soldiers! GGRRR!!! I have never hated Riley more!

Very good chapter, as always! I am glad you put that last part in there. It is true that she ordered him, but not in the way that would be bad. Did that make sense? I hope we finally see some Riley pain! Oh, and I have a question, I noticed when they were fighting Riley in his office that Spikes chip fired at the THOUGHT of him hurting Riley, does Riley have a special thing in the ship that makes it fire at the THOUGHT of hurting him, or am I reading to much into it?

I agree with Buffy completely. Either both Xander and Spike should go, or neither. I was wondering about the seeming double standard. I also wonder how Riley found the house. They thought it was so safe!
