Good chapters.Sorry I haven't reviewed in awhile.Spike should have accepted the claim.Tomorrow on Bravo is a season two episode of the West Wing.It's the shooting one and I really want to see it.And even though I've only seen four episodes,I'm a Josh/Donna shipper & a CJ/Danny shipper.I just loved Josh falling apart in Donna's arms over Leo's death.And I loved his line last night about it being awkward for him to sleep with Donna in his own apartment.And I loved the new game with Leo seeing how gullible people are.I can't wait until Josh finally tells Donna he loves her.Update soon.
Spike didn't let Buffy go through with it because he didn't want her to bind them together without being able to understand what she was really doing. Thanks for the review. Have fun w/your shows!

Aww, what a nice chapter. Just sad she didn´t get the chance to claim him, but I hope she has more opportunities and they loose control and do it. Yay. (Wishfull thinking) Please update soon. Great story so far. Getting better and better.

The Slayer demon wants Spike's demon for a mate? Why isn't Buffy going ewww and yuck on her way to the river denial? More story please.

Buffy certainly has a lot to learn, about herself most of all. It will be very interesting once she better understands her demon. Her wants and needs aren't so different from the demon, but she is so used to denial that I think it would take something momentous for her to recognize that Spike is the perfect match for her, all of her. Her demon already recognizes it, unfortunately after what just happened Spike might not be as accepting of Buffy's feelings, if she ever truly recognizes or understands how she feels, and wants to take it to this level again. Thank you for the great update, I really enjoy them.
Thanks for the great review, it means a lot to me! You are right about Spike's feelings. He would love, more than anything to find that level of acceptance with her. But, he doesn't believe that she could ever want that sort of commitment with him, or even comprehend how powerful it is. Therefore, to protect the both of them, he feels he is going to have to teach her a lot, while trying his best to keep her at arm's length, so to speak. He loves her, but he's tired of being hurt. I just hope they get a chance to talk again. Even though Spike knows more about this, he needs to be able to speak to her calmly.. Buffy is all knew to this and she needs to take the time to really understand what is happening to her and how her actions could now affect others. Love the chapter.
Spike knows, now more than ever, that she is gonna need a lot of help. So, you can rest assured, she's gonna get it... And, he may get a lot more than he bargained for, in the deal, as well! I'm glad you enjoyed this one, and thanks for the review!

Wow, Spike is very against this idea, is't he?
He isn't so much against the idea of being claimed. But he is completely against letting her do something that he doesn't believe she wants. Since history has proven her to be fickle, he doesn't want to hurt her, and he also doesn't feel like being on the receiving end of a yanked chain. Thanks for reviewing!

God, has she read nothing about vampires? There are all kinds of bites, Buffy. And, bites can feel good between humans, too, so how much more is that to a demon? Dumb, ignorant girl.
Poor Spike...he'd be thrilled if it could happen for real, with love and everything, but the poor guy is still convinced she'll never look at him like that. Really a strong guy, to be able to step away at that moment.

That's one of the biggest problems with Buffy. She leaves all the research up to Giles and he Scoobs, and just acts as the muscle. Spike knows this about her though, and he knows, also, that she isn't above using things to her advantage, when she's feeling emotionally weak, which was why is only told her a little about claims and then clammed up. If it were ever to happen, he would want it to mean something. Not just be something she did because she had romanticized it in her head. Thanks!
