Buffy pain and anger at Spike having dealt with Sykes, even knowing that it was long ago and had nothing to do with what was currently going on, shows how much she has change is regard to her feelings for him. That being said, when is the next update? You left us with one evil cliff-hanger. :)

God...I love when you update with two chapters though!
I really liked where you took this. I honestly had no idea who the hell the bad guy was so it was finally interesting to see him.
Also loved the sex in the last chapter...inexpected and hawt, lol.
