The ending still has me laughing. I love that Spike is giving Buffy the spanking she so soundly deserves from him, and only him, after everything she has put him through for the last couple of years. I really like that Spike insisted that Buffy finish the claim on her own, that he didn’t tell her how to do it. No matter how hard it was for him he was right, if something inside of her told her how to initiate it she needed to access that same something to finish it. Thanks for the update, I really enjoyed it.

I just sat down planning to sample this and read it a bit at a time only to commit to a lovely day of blissful reading!
This is powerful and so very well written! I love your weaving with canon...it is seemless. This is a treasure that I will anxiously look forward to further updates and more of this compelling tale.
Have to say I am enjoying the spanking at the end here *G*....I'm evil like that.
