I was so happy to see this update. I had actually been thinking about this story (again) recently and hoping for a new chapter. I loved how much detail went into the battle and how exciting and tense the whole chapter was. I am really looking forward to the next chapter, particularly with the cliff-hangers for Buffy, Spike, and Cordy. :)

Don't get distracted Spike ... dang it. This was an awesome chapter. I loved the visuals for each part of the battle and scenes. You described everything very well, and I felt like I was a part of the action. Nicely done.
