excellent update, thank you. anya as practical as ever; xander growing up; tara channeling earthmother; dawn seeing a way to unite her best friend and her sister; and then there is red, as egocentric as ever. very enjoyable read.
Thanks. I'm still enjoying writing this one. Glad you like it. Some people really do come by change on their own...while others react in a healthy manner by considering ideas or events that challenge the way they think...while still others never change, because nothing is ever their fault. Willow always fell into that last category to me. She didn't like negative consequences, but always wanted to thing that she knew how to 'do it right this time.' :P

WOW! Amazing story. Great crossover idea. I hope you will update again soon because I can't wait to see the Scoobies meet Strider. :)

Oh Spike had a wife....sweet....hope this story is updated soon this just got way more interesting.
So sorry for the long delay in updates. I had to put my other WIPs on hold to finish the next section of The Path Less Traveled. You can expect to see that up within a week or so and then this should begin updating shortly thereafter. Thanks again for reviewing! :)

I really do hope that he had a wife who he truly loved. Spike hasn't had someone truly love him unconditionly in all his life/unlife except his mother but that was a different kind of love. And Buffy has no right to be jealous, she still thinks that vile angel is her true love in canon.
I think you'll appreciate where this story is going next. Sorry for the long delay in posting. I've been hard at work on the next section of The Path Less Traveled and that takes so much time to write that everything else has to wait in the meantime. Hope to begin updating again shortly. Terrific chapter, at least until that last part. Now Spike´s true love was his elven wife? So Buffy is what? Noone, replacement, what? He forgot Buffy after diving into the portal? As fine as it is that he had someone, that true love part bothers me to no end.
Hopefully you won't be as bothered when you see how I lay all that out. Speaking of which, I realize you've been waiting quite some time to do just that! Sorry for the lengthy delay but all my spare time has been aimed at completing the next section of The Path Less Traveled which I plan to post within a week or so. After that I should be back on regular update intervals with this tale. Thanks again for your comments and for taking the time to review! :)

Great update! Willow needs to get over herself and I love Anya's way of looking at things. I wonder what the story behind Spike's wife is. Update soon, please?

amazing tale. anya true to character,figuring how to best fit in and profit. willow concerned more about the loss of power than anything else. and buffy is sure to be jealous of spike's dead wife. fantastic tale, thank you.

yeah Buff, what now? I love this! (allthough I have a suspicion that it isn't exactly as she says... maybe he's just mourning Buffy ;-) and that elven wife was just a dear friend? lolz... or Buffy is going to have a jealous fit and it turns out it's all true... or it's something different alltogether....) anyway I'm still loving this story and eagerly waiting for an update!

hmmm...i think the lack of magic will probably be good for willow...if i remember rightly "magic -- for lack of a better word" was a natural part of the elves' makeup, right? not something someone could really "learn" or get by the means such as willow did...hmmm....interesting thought :)
