OH I feel so sorry for Spike right now, it is bad enough with Dru but Joyce and his mum too.
That's the way the game is played, unfortunately, exploiting the points where he's most vulnerable at the time it's most likely to work...

Poor tortured Spike, Dru, Anne and now Joyce! What an aweful thing to endure. The only thing that bothers me is that Rogue knows that they're there, so that can't be good. Hope Willow can help solve the mystery and help herself at the same time. Another great chapter, thanks.
Yep, someone definitely knows just what buttons to push...
Thanks, honey. Glad you're enjoying it.

God - that's brutal!
I'm glad you're enjoying it.

Poor Spike - he is having dreams of hallucinations and keeps getting worse. I really hope that Willow will help them .Bites nails nervously. This is a great chapter, very enthralling and captivating - thanks!
As you know, Willow manages to help them, but probably not as much as you might have hoped. Glad you enjoyed it.

oh no..poor spike..is this another effect of whatever the poison is? this chapter was excellent, has me on the edge of my seat, can't wait for more
As to what might be the poison and what might be other forces at work, I'd rather leave it up to the reader to try to draw the line. More tomorrow as usual.

Yup, this is pointing to all kinds of First torment, especially with the ominous phone call for Giles.
Well, The First was never one to let an opportunity go by...
