You know you're evil, right? Starting off this chapter with Angel and making me read 3/4 of the way down before I found out what happened to Dawn. I knew he wasn't going to hurt her if he could help it but I didn't know what she could do to get away from him. Of course! a female's only defense against any male! Buffy better get there before Spike, that's for sure. Great chappie once again, thanks.

OMG - I CANNOT Believe Xander. He better get his act together and he might end up in divorce court. How can you say you love someone and then despise others for the same trait. It is sick and disgusting and he needs to shape up before he loses something or someone important to him. If i could strangle him through the story I would. the story is getting very intense - i am loving it!

He's a hypocrite in so many ways and until someone actually pulls him on it, he wouldn't even notice, but in this instance I suspect he hasn't fully taken in the seriousness of the situation, not that it makes his attitude any more palatable, but I suspect he might be a bit more retiscent(sp?) about voicing his opinions if he realised just how close to dying Spike is.

very good, thanks. even ill, spike is consistent: stubborn, rash, foolhardy and buffy is going to kill him.
Hee! Isn't he just, though I suspect that what Buffy will do with him probably depend just what state he's in when she finds him and how relieved she is to see him by that point.

so where is he planning on going? he's not in much condition to be moving!! poor spike! i hope they find a solution soon! he shouldn't be going to meet this guy, it's supremely stupid of him...but..*sigh*...rash, impetuous, recklesss....typical spike *sigh* great chapter...more please :)
Spike has every intention of making it to that meeting. Like you say, so stupid, but so very Spike.

Rupert is definitely not your average cat but I think he's too independent to really be a familiar.
Re the letters, I think you find out, but it's so long since I wrote it that I can't say for sure. Angel's is basically an 'I'll be back so don't get too comfy' warning, while Spike's was more 'Don't get between me and Angel and I'll have no quarrel with you' type thing, but as it turned out, it took me four years to write a couple of months worth of events so he never actually made another appearance.
