Riley is an irritant, I just kept wanting Buffy to knock him across the head or more likely the room. I loved her final though about Parker.

I'm sure Parker wouldn't bother to take notes. He got what he wanted.

Can I punch him? If she's not going to, can I, can I? Spike really left an impression on Buffy, good! A little disapointed that it wasn't a Spike and Joyce scene. Great chapter!! And you've just explained why my feelings for Riley are fully pointing towards the 'intense hatred' variety. What an unbelievable ass. Geez, almost forgot how much of an egotistic, snot he was. Ugh. When compared to Spike---eh, he doesn't. Loved it and can't wait for more!

Good fill-in on the Riley stuff for the change in the story. And isn't Spike sweet, helping Joyce out at the gallery. Their friendship has nothing to do with Buffy, really. And he'd never hurt Joyce, because she treats him like an equal, and nobody does that...it's special.

I hope Buffy sees that Riley is really not a good match for her. Some other woman, sure, but not her.

i'm getting really into this story...can't wait for her to see spike agian, and i hope she goes easy on him...he just wanted to help...or to be near to her....:P ...and riley's bloody annoying...great chapter, pet, looking forward to mroe :)

awww spike was helping joyce at the gallery. I love the secret friendship between spike and joyce that has become practically fanon. :)
