You're being pretty tuff on Spike here, SC. Next thing you'll have Buffy making him take out the garbage. Things are going to good. Isn't it about time for Giles and the other knuckleheads to show up and start bitching? Like the way you're taking it slow with Sp and Buf.

I've just started reading this today and I'm really liking it!!! This story has such a twist on cannon that in some ways it makes perfect sense. And I'm loving it!!!

(I can only think of one reason why no one came looking for Buffy. They think she's dead. But why they think she's dead I'll keep to myself, because if I'm right I'll spoil it for others, and if I'm wrong it won't really matter.) :)

Wonderful chapter! I love this. One thing that bugs me...why haven't her family and friends come to see her? And when I say this bugs me I'm not saying I'm not buying the story, I guess I'm waiting for the explanation. I've read your stuff before, and so I trust there IS a reason.

I also wonder when the scoobies will be on the scene. What about her mother?

Awww, they're so cute! Amazing that she hasn't run into her friends, etc. all these weeks...that no one's come looking to see if she's alive. Did she buy new clothes and stuff, or sneak into her room at night and grab her stuff?
