love the chapter and Buffy and Spike even as a play couple. Go Spike for taking a stand when it comes to Buffy to Riley. And Joyce asking questions was too funny. And go perseptive Giles.

yeah, i'm kinda sharing spike's general reaction to riley...can't stand the git...the council's continuing tests sound like a terrible pain...i'd hate to be travers when she gets her hands on him! :)

Wow, thanks for the quick update. Love this fic. Riley's not going to leave this be, is he? Well they'll handle him just like they will the Council. The only thing that's got me worried is, if the Council won't allow Buffy to use Spike, then he's going to be a target. They want their slayers to be resourceful, well that's what she's doing. Using Spike to kept the Hellmouth a little safer, as an ally, how much more resourceful can she get? Using a vampire to fight demons? Again thanks for the update, looking forward to more. Great chapter.
