Pure Angelus, the sick bastard! but I love your version of Spike's family, with Rachel and Giles being part of it. Wish Joss would have thought of it and added it to the story line as well. Even if he had to change season 7 to do it. Well Spike may not know what he is but he has alot of people who love and care about to help him find out. Great work, thanks.
Puts a whole new spin on the hatred, doesn't it? I was kind of surprised that M.E. didn't go this way. That's what fic is for...:)

Good flashback (I can actually access BSV!!!). I imagine it will take a lot of effort to keep Giles from taking a trip to LA with a nicely sharpened piece of wood! Poor Rachael, Poor William.

The revelations in this chapter were so sad. :( Makes me kind of hope Ripper comes out to play when and if Angel turns up as requested. Great chapter.

How heartbreaking for Spike and little Rachel. I liked how Giles suggested that “the impetus for change would have never been put into place†when Spike commented on how things might have been different if Rachel had spoken up or if he or Buffy had been able to kill Angelus. I loved Dawn’s reaction when Willow told her that Althenea had said that she was a bit of a control freak and Willow’s comment about how she is always the last to know. Thanks so much for the update, I really enjoyed it.
Glad you liked the chapter. I always thought there was more to Spike's hatred of Angelus than met the eye...so I created what I thought happened. Thank goodness for AU!

I usually wait until a story is finished to read it, because I forget the stories between chaps, ;P but I couldn't wait with this, and love it!
