Nice reunion ... a true reunion with Dawn and Spike. {Smiles warmly} I always hated that the Buffy didn't own up to her part in the whole mess from 6th Season. Nicely written.
Thank you! I couldn't believe Dawn and Spike didn't ever make up on the show. They were too close to just fall apart. I especially hated it that Buffy never told Dawn, at least, her part in the season 6 fiasco.

Great chapter. I love Buffy's confession that her previous activities were partly to blame for what Spike did.
Thank you! I was so disgusted with her for her behavior towards Spike, and also for not ever setting things straight with Dawn that writing it was a catharsis for me.

Finally the truth! So glad it's out in the open and they all can get back to the wonderful supportive relationships that they all need. Wonderful chapter. Now to convince Xander of that! Thanks.

apparently the mating instilled enough wisdom and courage for buffy to be able to actually talk to one of the few people who really love her. long overdue conversation with dawn.
Yes - That was one of my (many) issues with chapter 7. She never set things straight with Dawn.

Yeah! I love Buffy and Dawn's make up. Long time overdue. And Spikes 'hurt the girl', poor baby.

I love Dawn being more mature! I'm glad Buffy finally told her the truth.
Thank you. I agree it was about time, and that she wouldn't have been so hostile towards Spike after he came back if Buffy had done it sooner.

That was great. I have always wished that Spike and Dawn had gotten to work things out. I honestly do not believe that Buffy ever told her the whole sordid tale. Also you assesment of Xander is perfect. He was too busy acting as judge and jury over Buffy's life that he never saw any of his own faults.
Great chapter and I'm looking forward to seeing the reaction of the others now that Dawn is on their side again. =)
