lol! Gotta love finding out he's got a bet going on. I don't quite understand his fear of commitment in this, though. I mean, he was with Drusilla for one hundred years...
I was inspired by the thought of what would Spike actually do if he could have Buffy. He's really immature and hanging out with Drusilla and the other scourgers wouldn't have improved him much. As to Drusilla, their relationship was pretty questionable what with the sire/childe relationship, her being looney tunes and cheating every chance she got with Daddy Angelus. So, maybe Spike is a little nervous. Also, being married is so square from the vampire point of view.

Fantastic chapter! Poor Spike he's so screwed! Here he's worried about his reputation and it's been in the shitter for some time now and he didn't know it. Such a guy thing about the bet, now what's he going to do, Is the question. He's not the "Big Bad" anymore now matter what he does. Just love the humor in your fics, thank you so much ST.
Spike is toast and so much fun to write whether he's being good or bad.

LOL! They had a poll going! Funny. Poor Spike, he's stuck in the delusions of his reputation. He's love's bitch! What exactly does he think he's going to be able to do about it? If he runs he'll just make himself miserable. Although if he's having this kind of reaction to being in love with Buffy, I'd definitely want to see how he reacts to her ending up in the family way. Can't wait for more.
