Spike was careful to ask but he had to (what Buffy wanted from him, how she saw him) but he underestimated her. Loved Spike carrying Buffy, he is really a White Knight when it comes to her. And the symbol with getting the feather after Spike fed the raven (the story about them, flying between the worlds.

Its so strange, yet really nice to see the Slayer and Vampire acting all domestic, going on tours and going out to eat, taking pictures while playing with birds. The occasional awkwardness is expected, and can't always be avoided, but you also bring a comfort and let them have moments they can cherish. Wonderful fic.

I just had to let you know that I've just read Memory Box 1 and followed on with this one. I absolutely love it and can't wait for more.

Just a little Brit thing - you had Spike carry Buffy off for a 'bit of kip' - I was expecting her to be taken to a plush bed for a sleep, as that's what it means. Not sure if you knew or not. Didn't spoil the fic for me though - roll on the next chapter!

Love that they're going to try "creating a new life together". The Raven giving her his feather was really cool too, just hope it doesn't have some ominous meaning to it.
