wow, buffy and co can learn a lot from them. yes, willow, xander and the others are looking for him, wanting spike back, but they still need an eye opening brain scrub. i hope they all end up there to help spike and dawn i'm guessing in the battle.
Nice imagery. An "eye opening brain scrub" is exactly what they need. The Scoobies may have learned their lesson concerning Spike (in this story) but there are so many things that they don't know yet.

Great epiphany on Buffy's part. The Scoobies do tend to act self righteous. While they do save the world , an a personal livel they're not very nice.
I'm glad that Spike is getting to know and be known by people who are displaying one hell of a lot more common sense than the Scoobies have displayed in the past.

It was an epiphany that was long over due in my opinion. The Scoobies all acted self-righteous and were in complete denile of their own faults. That is one of my pet peeves concerning the show.
I figured that Spike needed adult friends, people who did not see the world in very narrow black and white views, or were connected to Angel in anyway.

glad to see more of this. loved buffy finally seeing some hard truths and owning up to them with faith.
All I can say is that it was about time Buffy realised these truths and I had fun making her see them. =)

Oh I do like this world and the inhabitants therein. Dear Spike needs this so much even as he eventually needs back with Buffy (and yeah for her maturing and learning too). Love this story, hon.

Spike definately needs friends of his own, not people he met through Buffy or Angel, but people who met him first. That way Spike can learn to get passed his baggage while Buffy learns to do the same. Then they can get back together. =)

Must be an amazing experience for Spike, to feel he's accepted.
I would think so. He never was completely accepted on either show, though Angel's friends did eventually accept him, it's never been immediate. He's always had Angel's shadow hanging over him. In my world, Spike doesn't have that problem to over come. =)

Good chapter. Buffy was so right when she said that she didn't treat Faith and Spike right.
