soo, i was wondering. who is this honer guy? is he who i think he is? cause if he is, way weirdo. i'm getting a little confused, not really along for the ride, sort of speak. Splainy? would be highly appreciated :D

Homer....well, who he is is kinda weird, but in a very good way. If you're thinking that it might be Spike, but way older? Then, you'd be right.
If you read the previous chapters, then you know that the Dustins- Spike, Buffy, and little Joni have an "angel" that watches out for them, and if you read any of the story before this, "Vanishing Point" you know that Joni created a *big* mess wben she used magic after her Daddy died. And, if you haven't read it, I just told you. :)
Anyway, the short answer is this, Joni missed her Daddy so much that she went back in time and messed things up. Now Daddy has to fix them. Hence the "angel."
And yes, Daddy is who you think he is. That hasn't changed. Joni is Spike's adopted daughter.
Needless to say, I never liked Joss's outcome. Save the world and you end up in Hell? Not in my story! :)

The Oscar/Liam scene was great! I loved the Liam smackage! Boy, did he ever deserve it. I found Oscar's flashback very intriguing. Can't wait to find out what happens now that Buffy summoned Homer. Wonderful chapter, and Happy New Year! :)
It should be interesting. Did you take note of the wordage of the incantation? It could be important...:)
