Chapter: Chapter Five

I liked the addition :D But now I must wonder, the "She was, after all, only a servant" was merely William trying to convince himself, right? After all, his hesitation in responding in the affirmative to dear Cecily's party (tries to not regurgitate), and the fact that Miss Summers was only employed because her sorrowful eyes spoke to him and so forth ;)

Anyway, well done.

*goes off to read other changes*
That's exactly what he was trying to do ... convince himself that he wasn't attracted to her and that she wasn't anything to him besides an unfortunate woman he wanted to help. He was feeling guilty about the unexpected desire, because, after all, he's a loyal man, who is suddenly finding his desire shifting from one woman to another. But more on that later. :)

Oooh... I really like the angle you're taking. Buffy being afraid of human William based on what Spike said in Fool For Love and the way she knows him now. Bet she'll realize pretty soon he wasn't totally honest with her! :) Wonderful story, love.

Heh I guess William wasn't born bad after all. What a mama's boy. LOL.
Aw, poor William for you to call him a mama's boy. Can't we just say he's a man that's dedicated to his family?

I'm glad you're enjoying the story. Thanks for reviewing. :)

That went well, didn't it? She's really thinking this about this. Her imagination's really out there. Guess she doesn't know he was a virgin before he was turned, now wonder the poor guy can't get to sleep! Excellent chapter, thank you for posting all three!
Well, part of that would also be Spike's fault. ;) I always got the feeling that he was not completely honest with her in "Fool for Love." Like when he tells her he's "always been bad" and he "had to get myself a gang." It was pretty apparent from the scenes that followed the statements he had *not* always been bad and that the gang belonged to Angelus. Of course, the council's ignorance certainly doesn't help matters.

Thanks for the review. :)
