Yeah, the more she reflects on him the more she misses him. Very happy that Dawn's had time to realize that he did it for them, because he loved them. Again I'm so glad that Buffy's got his duster. Kind of surprised that she hasn't started sleeping with it, for comfort. Better with each chapter, thanks for sharing.

Can't tell you just how happy I was to see an update for this story. Excellent chapter. Loved Tara's quiet understanding - the way she knew that the wound was still too raw for Buffy to even mention what had taken place. And I'm glad to see that Dawn's coming around, getting through the anger she must be feeling at Spike's 'abandonment' of her and starting to scknowedge her grief. And Buffy - you made us feel her emptiness and how desperate she was to pretend that everything was normal. Can't wait to read more. :)

Very nice chapter. You do a wonderful job of showing Buffy in the aftermath of the rapid whirl of events that made up the latter part of S5.

She has gone through so much in a very short space of time and now that she is no longer fighting an appocalypse it is all beginning to hit her... as well as the more recent loss of Spike and her realisation that he did mean more to her than just hired muscle.

Nice sisterly chat, too... they will need each other a lot in the days to come, I think.
