love the way you wrote this bringing back of Spike - nicely done
I tried to parallel Spike's resurrection with Buffy's in the show -- a seemingly complete unawareness of self. I'm glad you're liking the story!

I had a lot of fun writing the scene where Spike came back; I tried to parallel when Buffy came back, and she had no sense of identity.

This story is beautiful. I love the evolution of Buffy's feelings, instead of her just jumping right into them. Also got to love Spike stumbling around Sunnydale in just a tarp, poor guy...
Thank you very much. I think that that point in time in canon, Buffy would be unlikely to just one day wake up and realize that she loved Spike -- not that those types of fics aren't incredibly fun to read! And yeah. Give me Spike in a tarp any day. :P

Argh! need the next chapter! Love the story, you're particularly good with the extra details that add a "real episode" feel to it - not everything is directly about spuffy. Please keep it going!
Thank you! I wanted it to be purely Spuffy when I first came up with the idea, but then realized that ultimately I would be doing the story a disservice by not expanding it to include the other characters. I'm glad you like it!

Awesome chapter! The heartbreak of her in his crypt mourning him as he stumbles blindly into her room to sleep... :;sigh:: So nicely done.
I needed the two to be separate when he first came back. I also liked the idea of Buffy trying to find a bit of Spike left over in his crypt -- which she's avoided all summer -- when his duster no longer works.

YAY!!! That's really all I have to say. Yay! that Spike's back, even though Buffy sorta gave up on him. Hopefully she'll return soon. Is Spike gonna be all tortured soul Spike--confused normal Spike--or possibly sorta feral Spike? The last one is usually my favorite. I can't wait for your next update. Update soon please!
