I loved the whole date and new job thingies.Having Willow's and Dawn's support was very important for the Spuffy relationship.The detail of Spike being considerate was really sweet,and the flowers...Perfect date and perfect chapter,love it:)
Yeah, I never got why she had to keep it a secret. Even Xander, had he known from the beginning and had time to adjust, would've understood. I think he would've been the only one really opposed to it. In fact, I think Giles would've been more okay with it than Xander.

How sweet of Willow to give him that talk. Of course he'd be nervous about them trying to have a real relationship. Loved the flowers and leaving him precious duster home. Cute conversation with Dawn. Glad everyone in htat house wants for Buffy to be happy and they think that he fits the bill. Wonderful chapter, thanks.
I didn't know what Buffy was talking about in canon s6- at that point, everyone had gotten to know and count on Spike, and the only one who treated him like crap was her, mostly. And her bff and her sister, why wouldn't they want her to be happy? I'd be insane to write it differently ;)

Yea, he just doesn't want to screw it up- this is his way of convincing Buffy to *really* be with him :D

awww, how sweet, and i love how you wrote willow...you're making me like her again... :) very excellent writing, and i'm as nervous as spike about this date ... :P
Yea, we didn't get to see much of Willow, unless she was hyped up on manage, or fighting her addiction, moping over Tara... I bring you "best friend" Willow once again :D
