Spike was right, the mated pairs got killed. The Council won’t be happy that Buffy is mated now too; they are in danger. Giles thinks already how he can get rid off Spike. ~ Oh my, what I feared. Too bad that Buffy trusts Giles... because him calling the Council? Can’t be good!

So happy for the couple, and Spike's ability to walk in the sun but this is going to get ugly very soon, isn't it? Ripper has had the time to love her enough to relly care about her death, if he had he never would have sent her to The Master and her death. Wait 'til Xander and Willow find out about Giles' betrayal. Excellent chapter, thanks.
