aww...giles loves spike! lol excellent scene of dawn and giles doing their best for buffy. i wonder how long it'll take for wolfram & hart to start (or try to start) messing w/ buffy? and will anything be successful? and where the heck is spike? ok...deep breath. please write more soon...i'll hold my breath til you do! and i don't look cute in blue, so i look forward to reading more.

awww, a little bit of giles and dawn bonding...very sweet...and giles admitting at the end that he'll actually miss spike, very nice touch :)

It occurs to me to wonder - what are they doing about Buffy's more physical needs? Hydration, nutrition and elimination are still necessary. If she's been like that for 2 weeks, and they are trying to take care of her, who is stuk with that part of the job? (YUCK!) It doesn't take TOO long to die of dehydration.
Gee, I'm just full of questioning commentary tonight. I should just go to bed and give all you authors a break from CrankyMe.
I am enjoying this story, and I particularly liked the interaction between a slightly crazed Dawn and a Ripperish Giles. The image of her there with her hair in her face, glaring at Giles, was great.

You know this review cracked me up. I don't know, but maybe they put some Depends on her for those unseemly accidents.
The image that came to mind when writing Dawn's glare was the way that Dana (the crazy arm chopping off slayer) had that glare through her hair.

The talk between Giles and Dawn was wonderful, I also enjoyed reading their musings about each other. The bonding moment they shared over Spike's loss was very touching. Great chapter! :)
I just had to have a G/D father/daughter talk. And couldn't resist the whole Spike moment.

Great chapter ... great interaction between Dawn and Giles. I am glad they BOTH are admiting to missing Spike. I still dont know what to hope for yet in this story... cant' wait to find out though!

It seemed to me that Dawn and Giles had gotten closer in Season 7, and he having a talk with her seemed to fit.
