Oh my dear Gillypod... I'm trying desperately not to flame you right now. This exact same thing happened with DoS's 'Because He Needs Her' fic. It was so beautifully written, but I developed such a pasionate hatred for the Spike of her 'verse that I literally HAD to stop reading mere chapters before the conclusion or else I might have thrown a shoe at my computer! lol!

I don't want a repeat of that & I know everyone is entirely deserving of writing what they want to write, so if I mysteriously disappear in the next couple chapters, i mean no offense.

This really is a great storyline, I simply don't know if I'll be able to cope with Spike/Other as well as I was hoping.

I'm just glad that it's not pushover!Spike that's here. That and he's actually rich, instead of dirt poor like he is in millions of other fics! Wahoo! =D

Dawn was determined to get back at Spike, but I am so sorry that Buffy got caught in the middle of this. But what did he expect. Buffy really should have left the room and not fall back into bad habits but I so can understand her shock. Glad that Clem was able to find him and get him to come back to the crypt. Loved the chapter.

Silly Spike, while he was away he should've worked on understanding women more. For right now, if Buffy is a bitch, he's a bastard. He drew frist blood first, especially if he lied to them all. If all he was doing was to protect himself, well it has it's consequences. If he couldn't read between the lines on what just happened, he's such a silly vampire. And I can't blame Buffy, cause to be honest after his reaction to seeing me and then finding out he was about to snog me, I wouldn've done more than smack his face. Now, let's see where you take are astranged lovers next, and if Spike does tell Clem the truth, and I wonder what little insight our favorte baggy skinned demon can share with dense ole Spikey.....and we find out just how hard Buffy is taking the news back home.
