Love this continuation-a lot can and did happened during those years after their last meeting.

Spike thinks, ' I just have this feeling, this sense, that she’s coming back to me'.

So glad you're liking it - more to come!

I waited, I worried, and finally I was rewarded. I was so glad to see the third in the Pratt series. Great start. Just what I would have imagined of these two, seperate yet still connected. I can't wait for the next chapter.
Oh I'm so glad you're reading - and hope it lives up to your expectations!

WOW what a great chapter. And I just can't believe how much time has passed. I hate that Buffy had to go through something devestating. But William is waiting on her. They just have to find each other again.
Thanks, Letitia! I think this Buffy needed to suffer and hurt to be able to make an intelligent decision about loving a killer.

Excellent POV's! I really am enjoying this series and happy to see a possible reuniting even with darkness and angst.

Kathleen
Thanks, Kathleen. POVs always feel risky to me, so it means a lot to hear that they're working.

Elated you are continuing this story. The real Spike.. in love but a vampire nontheless.

Shall I be ready for no happy ending. At least let them find each other and be together for a while. And what is his means of support now? At least he was a working killing vampire.

Enjoying.
Thanks, Pam! And I wouldn't say there won't be a happy ending. There will just be more pain and anguish, more confusion and negotiation than in the previous two installments. But that's love once you're in your 30s, right?

Sooooooooooooooo happy to see this fic back!!!!! Feels like Christmas with delicious prezzies!!
Thanks! But I'm afraid it will be kind of a dark, gloomy Christmas. Appreciate the review - *so* glad you enjoyed!

Awww, Spike's contemplating giving it up for Buffy.

Poor Buffy....lost a baby, didn't fall in love, and everybody has kids...
Yeah, Buffy has had a really rough time of it. And Spike isn't *quite* ready to imagine giving up killing ...
