Come on Buffy, she should have brought her own drink into the bar. That was the initial place of the crime. I can't wait until she sleeps this off and wants to kill him and dam the consequences. He really shouldn't have done this.

That's a bit sad, resorting to drugging Buffy -- but he so enjoys playing dirty! I wouldn't want to be in his shoes when she sobers up.
I thought of his drugging Buffy as more making sure she'd be around instead of running off. Since she's only his mate by reason of him tricking her in the first place, he isn't at all certain that she wants to be with him. Also, if Spike has a choice between doing some straightforward and pulling a trick - well we know what he's going to do. Thanks for reviewing.

wow...hotness to come i presume?? though, gotta say, a bit disturbing for him to take advantage of her like that...but then he *is* still evil :P lol...great chapter, love, looking forward to more :)
Spike is completely unrepentant in his evil at this point and taking no chances on his mate. She's pretty willing for all her objections. Thanks for the review.

Took matters into her own hands indeed. I think the single dose probably would have been enough, and then it might not be so obvious to her afterwards what had happened - not that its gonna matter.

Okay, so I was supposed to do productive outdoorsy stuff today, and yet here I am hunched over my computer, giggling and getting all hot under the collar thanks to your perfectly paced, seemingly effortless, sexy, funny prose. I am in love with this story, and your Spike and your Buffy, and all of your peripheral and original characters, and I'm a little bit in love with *you* for making Spuffy fun again.
