Hi! You recced me your fic on lj a few days ago, I was looking for Initiative-related fics. I've gotta say, this story is AMAZING!! Definitely one of the best Buffy fics I've ever read. I wish season 4 actually went this way! I love that you explored those gray areas that we never really saw on the show.

great story, enjoyed the depth you gave to the characters of Tara,Joyce, Anya and their interactions with Spike. The debates between your characters on what constitutes good or evil was well thought out and intelligently written, you highlighted the gray areas of BTVS beautifully.

Good characterizations and some really deep philosophy on good vs. bad and where Spike is on the continuum that clarifies a lot of things. It also shows how a writer can mature--heavy and a bit choppy on the dialog in the first chapter but evolving to rich texture with descriptions of actions and characters' feelings.

I finally got the chance to sit down and read this.
I love Buffy's steady realisation that things aren't always black and white and of course that Spike is the perfect shade of grey for her! lol

So pleased you enjoyed the story! Yes I wanted the wish to be one that wasn't wishing something bad on someone (Tara would never go for that) but would be considered bad by the men involved. Thanks for the kind review.

This was a great story. It really addressed and handled well a lot of issues I had with the attitudes in the show. If season four had been done more like this fic, I would have liked it a lot more. Buffy really seemed to grow in her thinking, and I love how you potrayed Tara and Joyce. Hope you write a season five sequel to this.

Really enjoyed it, much better version of season 4. Innovative way of dealing with the bad guys.
Thank you and thank you for mentioning my "justice"! No one else has remarked on it and I was pleased to have thought of a way that Tara would not have objected to wishing yet would be terrible to those wished upon. I'm doing a happy dance knowing it was enjoyed.
