Delicious chapter. Like the alternate voices until...the meeting. Xander is fitting as a pop culture addict and Anyanka as his live-in chef.

Just reread part 1 and 2.. There was an Anya Jenkins Harris.. any relationship to Anyanka living with Xander Harris in 3? She would know Buffy.. didn't she hire her for a job? Need to go back and rereread...Ha!
He did bring up baggin' it-- not being so bad. Maybe this might have a somewhat happy ending.. unless she has to stake him to??..

Ah, the sharp-eyed reader ... yeah, I realized that I used "Anya Jenkins Harris" as a throwaway name early in the series. When I got to part three, I realized that I needed Xander & Anya to play a slightly larger part. So I'm calling her Anyanka and just pretending that it's a little coincidence about the call from AJH earlier in the series ... or maybe I *should* go back and edit it. Hmmmm ....

You know what I love about this story? Well one thing anyway...you don't sugar coat what Spike is and what he does. he's a vampire, he kills. If you choose to leave him this way, okay, his being the object of Buffy's love isn't based on that aspect of him. He can change if he chooses or not. I love that he lives with humans, works with them, loves one and yet does not deny his nature. Very well written!

I loved your intro to the British. I truly believe that we Americans grow up believing that the British all speak like the Queen and have bad teeth. I spent four years in London on a work study program and had to be dragged, kicking and screaming back to the USA. I love your progression on this story. Especially Spike's attitude about his eating habits. Please update soon, you tease.

Um... I had plans to sketch a little tonight, maybe write, but nooooo, I find the William Pratt series and have spent the evening reading your fantastic words and characterizations and thank you for letting spike still be a vamp, complete with fangs and drainings.
i'm also enjoying how you're managing to work in everyone from the series. haven't seen giles yet. hmmm.
