This was a completely beautiful fic. Wow. 

Oddly enough it kind of reminds me of Xander and Willow in "Grave". Buffy continously hurting Spike and Spike ignoring it, just continuing to advance saying "I love you, I love you" until finally she breaks down and cries and accepts his love. 

Not suggesting there's anything romantic between Xan and Wil, just saying.
Again, phenomenal. 

What a terribly sad story - read this one long time ago - it does not seem right to say I enjoyed it because it was difficult to read from start to finish.  An excellent character study.

Okay, you made me cry.  Dammit. *sniffle*  While I don't get the cable channels I'd need in order to see this in an episode, the depth of Buffy's pain and self-hatred felt so real, and the way she finally realized that she was taking it out on Spike - and his willingness to.... gah.

I'm all flaily and not with the words right now.  Poignant.  THAT's what I was looking for.  This was just achingly tender despite the rage and violence.  Very, very well done.

Well, Buffy had the reaction of disbelief and anger I expected after last chapter. I really love how the things Buffy said were clearly directed at herself even though she said them to Spike and that he understood exactly what was going on with her at that point! I felt the ending with Buffy realizing that he does love her and she feels something for him even if she can't face it yet was really genuine in the context of this fic. Excellent job!

*Sigh* I love the fact that you always give Spike that hope, that promise of an eventual happy ending with his Slayer; even if things aren't perfect now, there's the chance that they might be. It's better than the show ever gave him!!! Awesome story; can't wait for you to start something new! *Author shakes her head sadly at the never ceasing demands of her rabid fans* LOL!
