angel is even more egocentric than the scoobies. he is a more honest character as angelus. enjoying the compassionate buffy. very good read, thank you.

Thank you so much for double chapters! And I really want to know more about why Spike attacked Angel, allegedly. Can't wait to read more, with Spike waking up with Buffy nearby holding his hand. I understand the need to be realistic with the Bangel stuff, but I'm glad she isn't so blinded by pure happiness at having her boyfriend back and separating him from Angelus, and actually feeling angry with Angel for stuff like leaving Spike alone with a window!

Poor Spike.  I remember Angel's (the souled one) and his dreams...he used to dream of the hunt and kill and enjoying it....how different to dream of hating that.

Excellent story and chapter.  Love compassionate Buffy.  Note that Angel has no compassion or seeming guilt for Spike having been the vampire he was.

Somehow, I don't think Angel is going to like this. Never mind that he should've been the one in there comforting his family member instead of shutting him in a room with access to sunlight and hoping he'd either accidentally or on purpose immolate himself.

I really like this story, I feel like it's going to take a lot of skill in writing to make the transition from a Angel/Buffy story to a Spuffy story but I get the inklings of how it could be feasible already. The story is well written, interesting, and you leave me wondering what's going to happen next. :) good writing and I look forward to more!
