I can't help but wonder if this is an elaborate plot of Angelus's to fool Buffy...  he acted like he had a soul before...  can't wait to see what happens next, and how Angel's jealousy manifests!

That was quite a scary moment.  Brilliant!

It's probably soothing for Buffy to have some sort of task--helps her forget that she doesn't have a home to go to anymore. And if Angel weren't such a jealous, broody twat, he could be reaping the benefits of her needing to do something OR helping Spike and therefore keeping Buffy away from him.

Thanks for the double updates, going off to read the next now.  Find Angel's admission of he and Spike's differences very interesting. 

Very different vampires AND humans indeed.  I am startled that the poof admitted it!  Probably safer for Spike for Angel to leave actually.  I wonder how "sad" Angel would have been had that suicide attempt worked!
