Great Balls of Fire by Niamh
Chapter: Two

"Our life together is so precious together
We have grown, we have grown..."

"...It's been too long since we took the time
No-one's to blame, I know time flies so quickly
But when I see you darling
It's like we both are falling in love again
It'll be just like starting over, starting over"

(starting over, John Lennon)

because, of course, you were away so long, I had to start from the beginning again...

All I want to say is:

"Don't stop, thinking about tomorrow... don't stop... the story will soon be done..." (Don't Stop, Fleetwood Mac)

Enter Sandman is inspired, btw.  :-) and nope, no idea what Giles is humming.

if it wasn't for the fun your having telling this tale and the fun i'm having reading it, i'd say leave xander where he is. fine read, thank you.

Great chapter, I am enjoying the story so far.

John Rubinstein was the Wolfram & Hart lawyer Linwood Murrow and Pippin in the original Broadway production.

One Night in Bangkok was from the musical Chess. Murray Head played Freddy Trumper in the original production and his brother, Anthony Stewart Head, was part of the final cast. One Night in Bangkok is one of my favorite songs from the 80’s and it wasn’t until three years ago I realized Murray and ASH were brothers.

Hee! This is one fun story! I love when Sweet takes Xander with him and it's all Beauty and the Beast. I was so happy when I recognized the Mulan song.

Here's hoping the get to Xander soon since Sweet is having him all prepared to be the Queen.  Interesting that Giles is reconsidering the whole leaving, and realizing that some good may be coming from the connection between Spike and Buffy
