Good idea Buffy, to prompt Spike into doing better than Angel!

I've just caught up with three updates - hooray!  This is a beautiful story.  Joyce is wonderful, as she always was on the show.  Angel seems worried about what Spike will say, and so he should be!  I wonder how Buffy will react.

This is really a great story.  You are writing CrazySpike very well and the interactions amongst all the characters is well done. 
I can't wait to find out what set Spike off when Angel went into the room.  I'm thinking he tried to get Spike to do something to Buffy or Joyce.

Progress indeed.  Wonderful dialogue, so authentic.

Wonderful slow building of a real relationship here.  Yes at this time in Buffy's life her heart was soft and loving enough (and trusting) to have helped in this way....very believable.  Small steps but ones that are logical and necessary.

I'm really loving this.  It's my favorite story right now.  I like the way you're building the friendship. 

Nice to see Angel doing his very best to make everyone's life easier.  That would be my sarcastic voice.  I guess he figures that  helping the  Slayer while she isn't in with Spike is just too much work. Talking, yeah, that doesn't take much effort. But I just can't see him taking patrol or something while she's otherwise occupied. 

So happy to see more updates! I love how you stay true to Buffy's faithfulness and loyalty but still have her not totally blind and in love with Angel. And I think Spike's reaction to Angel is much more than just not liking him and that it will come out sooner or later.

Love how they are with one another in this chapter, kind of unsure of what's going on.  Interesting that she wants to be called by her name and not her title.  Can't wait for more!

That may have been the right comment to make to stir up Spike's competitive nature.  Nothing like the comparison to his greatest advesary to remind him of the importance of pulling himself together.  Maybe she should feed him more so his periods of coherence will last longer.
